Hussien is a partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Aller Aqua Egypt, a position he has held since 2011. He has more than 23 years of experience in extruded feed production, aquafeed technology and feed manufacturing for a range of species. He began his career in his family’s feed business in 2000, operating extrusion systems for the production of fish feed, pet food and full-fat soybean products. He later served as Operations Development Manager and Vice Chairman, contributing to the completion of Aller Aqua A/S’s acquisition of the company. Hussien has participated in specialized feed and extrusion technology programs at Texas A&M University and Kansas State University and has supported the introduction of shrimp hatchery and farming activities. He has also represented both Aller Aqua Egypt and the Egyptian aquaculture sector in numerous local and international delegations. He is a former Chairman and current member of the Danish Business Club in Cairo. Under his leadership, Aller Aqua Egypt received the award for Best Aquaculture Product in the Middle East for two consecutive years. In 2023, he received a Business Excellence Award presented by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Denmark.
