Dr. Baraa Al Baroudi is a veterinary executive and poultry integration strategist with over 19 years of progressive leadership in fully integrated poultry operations across the Middle East. He currently serves as Chief Quality & Technical Officer at Fakieh Poultry Farms, one of the leading integrated poultry producers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In his current role, Dr. Al Baroudi leads enterprise technical governance across the entire poultry value chain — from grandparent breeding stock and hatcheries to feed mills, broiler farms, processing plants, and value-added consumer products. His remit covers food safety, product quality, poultry health, nutrition strategy, and operational performance across broiler meat and table egg production, with full compliance to international food safety standards. Prior to joining Fakieh, Dr. Al Baroudi spent nearly nine years at Golden Chicken Farms Co., where he progressed from Quality & Animal Health Manager to Chief Quality Officer, leading total quality management systems, veterinary services, nutrition, feed-to-food safety, and laboratory diagnostics across the group. He earlier held quality leadership roles at Saudi Radwa Food Co. and Pure Breed Poultry Company. He is widely recognized for building world-class systems aligned with global standards — FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP+, HACCP, Halal, and SFDA — while delivering measurable impact on productivity, cost-efficiency, and food safety compliance. He has led the design and commissioning of one of Saudi Arabia's most advanced poultry processing plants, as well as two fully automated feed mills supporting more than 500,000 birds per day.Dr. Al Baroudi was recently recognized among the SMS50 Manufacturing 50 Leaders shaping the future of manufacturing in Saudi Arabia. He holds a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) and an MVSc (Master of Veterinary Science).
