Ivan Ivanov is the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Global Sustainable Protein Advisory Lead. IFC is the private sector arm of the World Bank and the largest multilateral investor in agribusiness in developing countries.

Ivan works with IFC teams to identify and design advisory solutions for clients with the goal to strengthen their operations and increase IFC developmental impact. IFC Advisory Services builds on a strong portfolio of market leaders across the globe to promote best practices. Core to IFC advisory offering in animal protein is the support to operational excellence, sustainable sourcing, antimicrobial stewardship, animal welfare best practice, and decarbonization.

Ivan has more than 30 years of experience setting up, managing, investing in, and advising private businesses.
