New Trends in Animal Nutrition and Feed Formulation 

This technical course is designed to highlight the relevance of nutrition precision practices in modern animal protein production. The event is organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council and will take place on August 11, 12 and 13 at the IGP Institute (International Grains Program) at Kansas State University, United States.

The course covers key areas of the animal nutrition and feed industry, including amino acid and energy nutrition, dairy cattle nutrition management, ingredients evaluation, NIR technology, swine nutritional strategies to mitigate metabolic and locomotive problems, updated nutritional requirements for broilers and layer hens, and soybean meal utilization in monogastric species.

Throughout the technical course, participants will learn the latest nutritional and feeding practices used in modern animal protein production. Topics include nutrition and feed processing practices, precision nutrition strategies, soybean by-product utilization in multispecies feed, and gut health providing participants with practical knowledge, techniques, and strategies that can be directly applied to improve performance in animal nutrition and feed formulation.
